- Vented Dryers. Vented dryers use heated air blown through tumbling clothes to dry clothes in a chamber. In order to properly dry the clothes, humid air must not remain in the drying chamber. The humid, damp air is redirected out of the dryer into a duct (usually leading outside of the home).
- Condensing Dryers. A condensing dryer removes water from your clothing by a process of heating and cooling. Water is drained from the clothes and redirected outdoors. Heated air is released into the laundry room and this can cause the air to be a tad humid in your laundry area.
- Heat-Pump Dryers. Heat-pump dryers also use a heating and cooling process. Hot air is blown through the wet clothes, water is drained away, and then the clothes are cooled and the process repeats.
- Washer-Dryers. This type of home appliance is a single unit that washes and dries clothes. The process is similar to a heat-pump dryer with the exception of the use of cold water to cool the clothes.

Common Dryer Issues We Repair
Spinning Drum with No Heat
There are a number of common problems that come from various parts that cause the issue of a spinning drum with no heat. The drum of the dryer may continue spinning, but not be able to heat if there is a bad fuse within the dryer. The temperature switch may be faulty and require repair. You may also be dealing with heating coils that have gone bad or a bad timer. We have mechanics who are trained to deal with all of the above mentioned problems.
Dryer Overheating
Overheating is another common issue in the dryer repair world. This can be caused by clogged ducts or a faulty thermometer. Our technicians are specially trained to deal with this issue on time.
Dryer Won’t Start
If your dryer will not start at all, it could be due to a bad terminal block or a bad start switch. Whatever the problem, you need a trained professional to deal with this, especially in the event of gas or an electrical cause.
